9-29-11 Cows! Cows! Cows!

The other day we were at the library and another mom saw that Chloe was completely OBSESSED with cows based on all of the cow books she was flipping through. She asked me if I had ever taken her to Loma Vista Farm in Vallejo. What?! A farm in my area!? How could I not know this?? Amazing! So the next day was Chloe's lucky day and off to the farm we went! They had everything from chickens, roosters, and ducks, to cows, goats, sheep, pigs and horses. I am SO excited that this is less than 10 minutes from our house...and FREE! Surprisingly Chloe was a little timid around the animals and wouldn't touch the cows. I'm blaming the pushy geese that we encountered as soon as we entered.
