12/31/11 Eeeeekkk!!!

Almost the entire month has gone by and I haven't posted!! I guess that's what happens when it's Christmas time and Daddy's home with us for over a week. The last big thing Chloe and I did together, before Christmas, was go to the Jelly Belly Factory with Karina and Tucker, so here are some pics from that day. It ended up being a lot of fun and the kids LOVED the decorations. The best part was that an awesome Santa was there and we unexpectedly were able to get our Santa pic!

12/8/11 Gymboree and Xmas Shopping

Today somehow felt like a pretty quick day, despite the fact that Chloe woke up at 5:30am (TORTURE) and the fact that Dada's been gone 4 straight days now. We had our 2nd level 5 Gymboree class and Chloe had a blast. The hour earlier definitely makes a difference and she has a lot more energy at it. Afterwards we headed to Broadway Plaza for a little Christmas shopping (another benefit to the earlier Gymboree class). Today Chloe discovered the pockets in her coat and thought they were pretty cool. She also decided that the laundry basket was a great place to play.

12/7/11 Farm Fun and PIGGIETAILS!!!

Today we went to Chloe's favorite place, Loma Vista Farm. Each time we go she get's more comfortable with the animals. She let the goats eat out of her hand like it was nothing (was terrified of this the first time) fed the cows some hay and was OBSESSED with the bunnies this time. She didn't want to leave this sweet black and white bunny named Rocky Road. A 4H girl who worked at the farm let her go in the pen with the bunny to brush him and Chloe was in heaven. An even bigger deal today (for Mama) was that Chloe debuted her pig tails! FINALLY enough hair for them, and she looked SO SO SO SO cute!

12/6/11 YAY! Auntie's Back!!

THANK GOD Melanie is back home after a month in India! She left the same time our music class went on break and we haven't had much to do. So happy our SF play dates can resume! We headed out first thing this morning and went for a beautiful walk up a path that overlooks Ocean Beach and has a great view of the Golden Gate bridge. The girls had a blast playing together outside.

12/5/11 Errands Day

We didn't do anything too exciting today, but we did get a lot done! We ran a ton of errands and finished decorating our giant Christmas tree (AKA "dada tree"). Chloe had a few fits over not being able to hold all of the ornaments that are on the tree, but she now gets that they're just to look at and is enjoying them.

Decided to try laying down in the bath for the first time. Cute buns!

11/28-12/2/11 This Week in Pics...

Daddy's out of town a lot this month (2.5 weeks total! but comes home on the weekends) because they're making commercials for 2012. Because of this, our routine is a little thrown off in the evenings, making it harder for me to post. Here are some pics from this week.

Chloe got out the iPad, turned it on, went to Netflix and found her favorite, "sheep & goat" show all on her own! Crazy!

Picking out her own clothes, and obsessed with having these little hair bows in her hair.

Again...picking out her own outfits. :)

First day in the Level 5 class! Trying out a new activity and loving it!

This level is more about imagination and the theme was "horsies". That's her tail. :)

Feeding the horsies "apples" and "oranges".

Taking the horsie for a ride, on the rocking horse!

Star stuck to her forehead from the glass door gels!

Auntie's back from India! Playing with her string of elephants, while wearing her "hay skirt".

Netflix time.

Christmas wreath made by Chloe!!

11/25/11 Happy Thanksgiving, Part 2!

After staying the night at Noni and Nono's we headed over to Rancho Murieta for Thanksgiving with the Renwicks. We were lucky enough that everyone (including Michele, John, Nicholas, Goldy, and Rose) was willing to postpone Thanksgiving a day so that we could all enjoy it together. Chloe was in a pretty good mood today too, and played with her "bugs" and the dogs all day. It was impossible to get her to nap today also though, so by 5, after two days of no naps, she was about to lose it. She started walking around the house saying "bye-bye" to people and asking for the car before we even told her it was time to go. HAHA She crashed the moment we got in the car. A busy two days for her!

The smile she gave when I asked her to smile. :)
